Pan Placement
Check for Bake Burner Flame
Allow no more than 40–60 seconds before burner ignites
and heat is felt. To check for heat, open oven door to first
stop and place hand over oven door. If heat is not felt,
press OVEN CANCEL on the oven control. If burner
repeatedly fails to ignite, contact an authorized servicer.

To reduce risk of food poisoning due to bacterial
growth and production of toxins, never hold meat,
milk, fish or eggs for more than 2 hours before
cooking.

Oven Rack Placement
Position oven rack before turning oven on.

Pull rack forward to stop position.
2.
Raise front edge of rack and pull until rack is out of
oven.
3.
Place rack in new rack position.
• Curved edge of rack must be toward rear of oven.
Aluminum Foil
When placed on the oven bottom or racks, aluminum foil
not only creates a hazard, but also affects cooking
performance. To minimize spills in the oven, place a
shallow pan or cookie sheet underneath food items that
may drip or spill.
