Placement
Center Channel II
should be placed
directly atop, beneath, or along-
side the TV monitor as shown in
Figure 3
. The other speakers in
the system should be placed
approximately as shown in
Figure
1
(consult “Getting The Most From
Your Dolby Surround System” for a
more detailed discussion of
placing the other speakers).
connect the red speaker terminals
to the red receiver terminals and
the black speaker terminals to the
black receiver terminals. Two-
conductor speaker cable is coded
along one conductor with lettering,
with a stripe or a bead–or–the
appearance of the two conductors
differs, usually one copper and one
silver. This allows you to easily
connect the proper conductor to
each terminal.
Your center channel speaker
should be connected to the center
channel speaker outputs on your
Dolby Digital or Dolby Surround
with Pro Logic receiver or decoder/
amplifier as shown in
Figure 4
.
Important note:
All speakers
should be connected in phase.
The terminals on your center
channel speaker and on many
receivers and amplifiers are coded
red (+) and black (–) to insure
correct phase. Make sure you
