Connect the leads with the red
bands to the red (+) speaker
terminals on the amplifier and
BassCase
, and the unmarked
leads to the black (-) terminals.
Note: Connecting all speaker wires
identically assures that the speakers
operate “in-phase” (their cones move in
and out together). While doing no damage,
“out-of-phase” connections can muddy the
stereo effect, and sounds like solo voices
that should appear to come from a point
between the satellites will sound “split”
between them.
To connect satellite speaker wires to
amplifier, push back on spring- loaded
tab above or beneath each connector,
insert bared end of wire, then release
tab to lock wire in place.
To connect the
BassCase
, push down on
spring-loaded connectors, insert bared wires
into holes, then release connectors.
