replacing the
sim card
A third party SIM card may be used, for example, if an existing SIM card is available or the current SIM data contract
expires.
To insert a SIM card please do the following:
With the power switched
OFF
to the control panel, remove the RGSM casing, slide out the existing SIM card and
fi t the replacement SIM card into the slot. Replace the casing and power up the control panel.
Send an SMS to the telephone number of the SIM, reporting the APN details. Access Point Name – ask the service
provider for APN details e.g. APN:pp.vodafone.co.uk Capital, lowercase letters and punctuation must be respected
The SIM must be capable of 2G data transmission and have the PIN code disabled.
