- DISMANTLING AND DISPOSING OF THE COMPONENTS
8.1 General
At the end of its working life, the tool shall be dismantled.
The tool components shall be divided in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are made of (batteries, metal,
plastic, etc.) and in compliance with the regulations in force in the country where the tool was used.
8.2 Information for the end-users
According to art. 13 of the Law Decree dated the 25
th
of July, 2005, no. 151 “Application of the 2002/95/CE, 2002/
96/CE and 2003/108/CE Directives about the limitation of use of dangerous substances in the electric and
electronic devices and about the waste disposal”.
The symbol of the crossed waste-bin shown on the devices indicates that the product, having reached the end of its lifetime,
shall be collected separately. The user shall, therefore, bring the complete device, with all its essential parts, to a selective
electronic and electro-technical waste disposal point or to a dealer, when buying a new, similar device. The adequate selective
waste collection for the following recycle and/or environment-compatible disposal helps avoiding any negative impact on
environment and health. Any end-user’s unauthorized product disposal would cause economic sanctions according to the Law
Decree no. 22/1997 (art. 50 and following ones).
