5 - MAINTENANCE
5.2 Special maintenance
WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations, wear heat-resistant gloves. The engine head (A) and muffler (3), the
compressor head block (B) and the copper pipe (5) coming from the unloader valve (17) can get extremely hot.
Any special maintenance work is to be performed by qualified mechanics.
NOTE: Before performing any maintenance on the engine, refer to the use & maintenance manual supplied with the
equipment.
Carry out these operations in the following order:

Press the throttle lever (10) to the lowest point to switch the engine off;

Open the drain tap (18) in the bottom of the air tank (14) to discharge it.
5.2.1 Replacing the oil in the compressor block
NOTE
Carry out these operations while the compressor is warm, after it has operated for a period of time.

Remove the oil filler (8);

Loosen the drain plug (13) and allow the oil to flow out;

Close the drain plug (13);

Put oil in (refer to the lubricant chart) through the hole closed by the oil filler (8) until the max. level mark stamped on the
dipstick is reached.
5.2.2 Replacing the air filter in the unloader valve (17)

Remove the filter and replace it.
5.2.3 Servicing the unloader valve (17)
Contact the nearest Campagnola authorised service point.
5.2.4 Repairing the fittings because of air leaks

Unscrew and remove the fitting, put TEFLON on the thread, screw on and tighten.
If air leaks still occur, replace the fitting.
