Gather tools and supplies needed for your project.

Push selected cone onto drain cleaner nose.

Slide splashback shield onto drain cleaner nose or
extension tube.

Turn on faucet and run water until the water level
is above the drain opening. With water at the drain
opening, press the drain cleaner firmly into the
drain opening, squeeze and quickly release the gun
trigger.

Cover any overflow opening in the sink with a wet
rag or duct tape. If using a double sink, put a rag in
the other drain opening.

Remove sink drain basket and/or stopper. Turn
drain shut off (if applicable) to “open” position.

Attach air hose to air compressor and drain cleaner.
Plug unit in.

If blockage is not removed, repeat step

9. Add

more water if necessary and increase air pressure
slightly.

Do not exceed 50 psi.

Wait several

seconds between air pulses to avoid pressurizing
the drain system and damaging the pipes.

Select proper cone for drain cleaner by fitting cone
into drain opening. The cone should fit down into
the drain about 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch and seal the
drain opening.

Turn air compressor on and set pressure between
10 to 50 psi. It is recommended to start at 10 psi. If
satisfactory results are not achieved, increase the
pressure.

Do not exceed 50 psi.

After blockage is removed, flush drain using
plenty of water to carry the blockage material well
away from water lines. Check sink traps and, if
necessary, tighten up leaking joints. Wash off drain
cleaner with clean water.

WARNING: Do not use the air powered drain cleaner with chemicals in the sink.

Use the air-powered drain cleaner before trying any chemical mixture in your drain.
