Section 14. Lens
The standard Lens for the CC5MPX camera contains the following features:
•
C-Type Mount
•
Varifocal (manual zoom)
•
Manual Focus
•
DC Iris
Access to the lens for adjusting the zoom and focus requires the removal of the
CC5MPX lens tube (see FIGURE 14-1). The lens tube is threaded on and
needs to be turned counter clockwise to be removed.
The zoom and focus adjustments are shown in FIGURE 14-2. The
thumbscrews may need to be loosened prior to moving the adjustments. It is
important to tighten the thumb screws once the camera focus and zoom
adjustments are completed, to avoid problems from vibration.
The camera controls the iris of the lens using the cable with a 4-pin connector.
This connector must always be plugged into the receptacle (on the front lens
plate of the camera) for proper operation.
