The CR6 requires a power supply. Be sure that power supply components match
the specifications of the device to which they are connected. When connecting
power, first switch off the power supply, make the connection, then turn the
power supply on.
The CR6 operates fully with power from 10 to 16 Vdc applied to the
BAT
terminals, or 16 to 32 Vdc applied to the
CHG
terminals. Both sets of connectors
are found on the green power plug in the upper right of the wiring panel. Some
functions, such as programming, the setting of settings, and analog measurement,
operate with power from a standard PC USB port (5 Vdc) to the USB port on the
CR6.
