Troubleshooting Chart
Symptom
Possible Cause(s)
Corrective Action
1. No electrical power to charger
2. Blown fuse
3. Charger plugged in
4. Main power “Off”
Incorrect size fuse, circuit overloaded
Defective pump
1. Air leaks in piping or hose (on machine or
in outside system)
2. Regulator not set correctly
3. Pump worn
1. High humidity
2. Tank full of water
1. Power off
2. Tank contains over 100 psi of air
3. Battery discharged
4. Battery charger plugged into compressor
5. Fuse blown
6. Other electrical problem
1. Air consumption higher than compressor
output
2. Air leak
3. Internal leak
4. Defective pump
1. Plugged in? Check fuse/breaker or motor overload
2. Replace blown fuse
3. Remove charger plug from AC adapter jack
4. Turn on main power
Check for proper fuse.
Replace compressor
1. Replace leaking components or tighten as necessary
2. Adjust regulator setting
3. Replace compressor
1. Move to area of less humidity; use air line filter
2. Drain tank
1. Check on/off switch
2. Release pressure by using the accessory attached to the
hose. Pressure switch should activate motor when tank
pressure drops below the cut-in pressure.
3. Allow battery to charge for 14 hours before using
4. Unplug charger from compressor. Red light will be on while
charging. If charger is not connected to AC but still plugged
into compressor, the compressor will not operate.
5. Open accessory cover and visually check fuse. Replace if
needed. Blown fuse may indicate other problems.
Do not replace with larger fuse.
6. Take unit to authorized Husky Service Center.
