(Where the existing cylinder is empty, read paragraph D:
“Removing the cylinder”)
To install or remove a cylinder, always work in a well-
ventilated area, preferably outside and never in the
presence of a flame, heat source or spark (lit cigarette,
electrical equipment, etc.) at a good distance from other
people and flammable material.
- Check that stove’s leaktight seal is installed and in good
condition, as is the thread on the tap (Fig. 2). Do not use
the stove if the seal is missing or damaged: return it to your
retailer.
- Check that the gas supply is fully turned off by turning the
control knob (1) clockwise as far as the handle (fig. 3). Fully
tighten the wheel to ensure that the gas is completely
turned off.
- Place the gas cylinder on a flat surface.

valve and turn the stove to screw it onto the cylinder.
- Bring the legs together to return them to their housing (see
Fig. 5).
Camping Duo™ R :

- Make sure that the two stabilisers (7) are resting on the
edges of the cylinder (Fig. 6).
- The equipment is ready for use.
In the event of leakage (smell of gas prior to turning the
tap on), take the equipment outside immediately, in a well-
ventilated area with no combustion source, where the leak
can be located and halted. If you wish to check that your
equipment is correctly sealed, do so outside. Never attempt
to locate leaks using a flame. Use gas leak solution.
