1. Ensure vehicle is on a level
surface.
2. Remove dipstick.
3. Clean the drain plug area.
4. Place a drain pan under the engine
drain plug area.
5. Unscrew drain plug.

1. Oil drain plug
6. Allow sufficient time for all the oil to
flow out of the engine.
7. Clean oil strainer.
8. Clean
drain
plug
washer
and
check it's condition, replace it if
necessary.
9. Clean engine and drain plug con-
tact surfaces, then reinstall drain
plug and washer. Tighten to speci-
fied torque.

10. Refill engine with the specified
quantity of the recommended en-
gine oil. Refer to
Technical Specifi-
cations
for capacity.

Engine oil quantity is also written on
the dipstick.
11. Start engine and let idle for a few
minutes. Ensure oil strainer and
drain plug are not leaking.
12. Stop engine. Wait a few minutes to
allow the oil to flow down into the
crankcase, then recheck oil level.
Adjust oil level as necessary.
13. Dispose of the used oil as per your
local environmental regulations.

1. Unscrew the oil strainer cover.
2. Allow enough time for oil to flow
out of oil strainer hole.
3. Remove oil strainer and spring.

then dry using compressed air.
