Use locking pliers to hold the joist against the truss frame under the
marked 16” centre(4x8) or pre-drilled hole(8x8).
For 4x8 docks add a #12x3/4” screw in the centre of the joist
under the 16” mark. For 8x8 add a screw to the pre-drilled
holes every 16” on the truss. Repeat Steps 19 & 20 for the
opposite end of joist.

For 4x8 Docks, starting at the edge of the small truss measure and mark 16” to the centre of the truss (See image above).
Repeat this for the opposite end of the truss. For a 8x8 dock place the remaining joists under the pre-drilled holes spaced 16”
apart from one another. PLEASE NOTE: Keep joists oriented in the correct direction as in Step 17.
