Reset GPS Receiver
‒ A remote reset function. Resets the MLGPS board as cycling power or clicking the
Reset button on the module would do. All internal configuration settings remain intact. During boot time
(approximately 30 seconds), no communication with the device can be performed.
Transfer Raw Files
–
Used when manually collecting raw files from the microSD card. Opens a browse for
Folder option, from which the inserted microSD card location can be selected. Or if files were transferred from
the SD card directly to the device, the folder where these files are located is selected.
Update Firmware
‒ The Update Firmware function opens a browse dialog from which an update package
(.
pkg
) file can be browsed to and selected.
4.4.9 Solution Progress and Status
When a solution is running, the Solution Progress block displays on the Logger toolbar. It respectively indicates
the raw GPS data collection progress for all solutions, in terms of time. When all necessary data for a solution
is collected, the data can be processed, and the collection begins again.
(Figure 4.4.9 A ‒ The Solution Progress block showing the data collection progress for a Rover's solutions)
The collection status is displayed via color:
▪
Green
indicates that both stations in the baseline have transmitted data within the last 30 seconds.
▪
Yellow
indicates that at least one of the stations in the baseline has not transmitted for over 30
seconds.
▪
Red
indicates that at least one of the stations in the baseline has not transmitted for over 5
minutes.
(Figure 4.4.9 B ‒ The Solution Progress block showing that the Base Station in one baseline has not transmitted for 54 seconds)
The cursor can be placed over each solution progress bar to display the solution's Type, Interval and Base
Station, and the data latency of the Base and Rover, in seconds.
