A base dataset must be selected to be used as a reference for the other datasets. Datasets can be selected
for plotting manually, or through the
Auto Select Recent Datasets
feature. With the Auto Select Recent
Datasets feature an integer can be entered and that number of the most recent datasets are automatically
selected for plotting. Datasets that are selected for plotting are highlighted in green. Use the slide control to
determine if and how each dataset is used in the chart:
Slide the control to the left to omit the dataset from the chart.
If the control is in the center, the survey is automatically selected if it is within the
recent datasets defined in the Auto Select Recent Datasets field.
Slide the control to the right to include the datasets in the chart.
When a base and at least one dataset have been selected, the chart can be
Previewed
or
Saved
, and
the data is displayed.
Offsets can be applied to datasets to shift them on the x-axis for easier viewing and comparison, as seen in the
following example TDR Chart. This can be done manually with the
Offset
field, or automatically when the Auto
Select Recent Datasets feature is checked, in which case the base can be given an offset and each additional
dataset is offset at the defined interval.
