Section 4 ‒ MLWebHardware Configuration
Data collected by an MLRemote
®
is transmitted to the MLBase
®
via 900MHz radio signal.
Note - The standard MLBase includes an integrated 900MHz Digi XBee, however, for deployments in regions where 900MHz
is not available models with 2.4GHz XBee are also available.
The MLBase in turn, sends the data to MLGateway over a wireless network or through wired network connection to
be imported. MLWebHardware is used to configure how the data is imported.
MLSuite
®
must be installed on the server prior to configuration. See the
MultiLogger Suite Installation Guide
for
details on installing MLSuite.
The steps for configuring the MLBase in MLWebHardware vary depending on the deployment. Each of these
variations are outlined in the following sections.
Note - This section outlines the process for configuring an MLBase with one or more MLRemotes on a single network.

4.1 MLBase Configuration
A single MLBase is configured to communicate with one or more MLRemotes.
From the server, or using a remote connection to the server, log into MLWebHardware to configure the MLBase and
any MLRemotes on its network. For additional information on logging into and navigation MLWebHardware see the
MLWebHardware Users Guide
.
Click
Add
to create a new MLBase and to open the MLBase Device Configuration form.
