IMPORTANT! Test the sender and the receiver before usage of the product and when the position of the
sender is changed. (See „TESTING OF THE PRODUCT BEFORE USE“)
1. The sender detects sound levels within a range of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6.5 feet) for NORM setting.
2. Place Baby Unit in the same room with child and place microphone directly toward child location, such as
crib or playing area.
3. Set both Parents and Baby units to the same channel (1 or 2).
4. Push Baby Unit SENSITIVITY switch to NORM or HIGH position. The Power indicator lights (Please refer to
“COLOR INDEX OF POWER INDICATOR”)
5. Adjust different detecting sound level sensitivity by switching the SENSITIVITY switch to either NORM
(normal sensitivity: 1-2 meters) or HIGH (high sensitivity:2- 6 meters) position.
6. The baby unit will go to stand-by mode for power saving when it doesn't detect sound from the surrounding
area.
7. Place Parents Unit where you stay and hear it.
8. Turn on the Parents Unit by rotating Power/Volume dial. Power indicator lights when the unit is on (Please
refer to “COLOR INDEX OF POWER INDICATOR”).
9. Rotate Power/Volume dial to adjust volume.
10. Note:
•
Place the Baby Unit at least 1 meter away from the baby so that the microphone can pick up the child's sound.
•
Unwrap and fully extend power cord for best transmission if adaptor is used. Plug the adaptor into the nearest
standard household electrical outlet.

PROBLEMS
SOLUTIONS
1. No power
‒
Unit is not turned on. Turn on the units.
‒
Check if the batteries are installed properly.
‒
Make sure the adaptor is connected to the Baby’s Unit properly if using the adaptor
instead of the batteries.
‒
The batteries may be low in charge, so it is best to change them with new.
2. No power indicator
lights
‒
Volume level on Parents’ Unit is set too low. Adjust it to a higher volume.
‒
Sound sensitivity level of Baby’s Unit is too low. Turn the Sound Sensitivity switch on to a
Higher position.
‒
Units are out of range. Move Parents’ Unit closer to Baby’s Unit.
‒
Ensure both units are at the same channel.
3. Hearing static or
Buzzing from Parents
Unit
‒
Make sure that both of the units are using the same channel.
‒
Move the Parents’ Unit closer to the Baby’s Unit.
‒
Note: The communication range varies depending on surrounding conditions such as
physical obstructions, interference.
‒
Reposition or replacement of the batteries.
4. Conversations or
sounds from other
homes received
‒
Signal interference may be due to the usage of other nursery monitor on the same
channel or if a cordless phone is being used. Change both units to another channel to
eliminate source of interference.
5. High pitched noise
‒
The Parents’ and Baby’s Units are positioned too close to each other. Move the Parents’
Unit away from the Baby’s Unit.
‒
The volume is set too high. Lower the volume at the Parents’ Unit.
