It is not necessary to logout in order to change user accounts. Logging out does not close VISCPRO II,
logging out just changes the login to the default

Connect VISCPRO II to the CAV 4.1
VISCPRO II and the CAV 4.1 must be set up and communicating in order to attempt to establish a
connection. Refer to

The preheat option is factory installed. This section is only applicable for
instruments with the preheating option installed.
Preheat Option
The preheating option on the CAV 4.1 is controlled via tube settings and can be used on either carousel.
Prior to activating the preheating, ensure that the carousel is filled with the provided metal sleeves. An
induction heating process is used for preheating; therefore no foreign metal objects can touch or be
near the glass cover. Use all proper laboratory procedures when handling hot surfaces.

Select the correct tube, and enter the appropriate number of duty cycle into the

Warning:
Preheating causes hot surfaces. Use caution and only touch
appropriate components.
Always use the provided metal sleeves in carousel when preheating.
Induction heating means no metal objects can be in close proximity, or
touching the glass beneath the carousel.
Tray is hot. Do not touch tray or carousel. Only move the tray using the
black plastic handle in the center of the carousel.
