5. INSTALLATION
I.
SELECTING THE SITE
Select the site of installation with the following
considerations in mind; if possible, pay a visit to the
user's before delivering the machine.

Make sure that the power supply enables
exclusive connection to a receptacle rated as
follows, and the appropriate terminal of the
receptacle is properly grounded for safety:

The temperature and humidity requirements
must be as shown in Figure 5-1. Avoid areas
near water faucets, water boilers, humidifiers,
or refrigerators.
*Set to 208V at time of shipment from the
factory; to change to 240V, be sure to use the
following voltage modification kit and replace
the heater and the wiring.

The floor must be level so that all feet of the
machine are in contact with the floor and the
machine remains level.

Avoid areas near sources of fire and areas
subject to dust or ammonium gas. Avoid direct
rays of the sun; as necessary, provide
curtains.

The room must be well ventilated.
The level of ozone emitted by the
machine should not harm the health
of those around the machine. How-
ever, some may find the level un-
pleasant if the machine is used for a
long time in a poorly ventilated
room. Make sure the room is venti-
lated often.
