The Scanning Quality is Poor
Cause 1:
The film is dirty.
Solution:
Rescan the film after cleaning it.
Cause 2:
The resolution (output device) is incorrectly set.
Solution:
Rescan the film after selecting an appropriate resolution.

The Color Quality is Poor
Cause 1:
The film has faded.
Solution:
In some cases, retouching the image with image processing software can alleviate the problem to
some extent.
Cause 2:
The (negative) film is difficult to color correct with the “Auto” film type function.
Solution:
Rescan the film using the “Manual” setting to specify the film type and scan speed.

Cause 3:
The film type is incorrectly specified with the “Manual” setting (negative film).
Solution:
Rescan the film with the film type set to the correct setting for the film brand.

A Slide Is Jamming Inside the Scanner
Cause :
The slide was inserted crookedly.
Solution:
Open the film guide, remove the slide and make sure it is straight when reinserted.
Scanning Is Taking a Long Time
Cause:
The resolution is set too high.
Solution:
Rescan with the minimum possible resolution setting for the application.
