Open the film cartridge chamber lid by moving the open lever to the Open posi-
tion.
CAUTION:
• The open lever will not operate the film cartridge chamber lid unless the indicator marks on the bottom
are aligned.
Insert the film cartridge into the film cartridge chamber with the film exposed
mark facing upward and close the film cartridge chamber lid.
CAUTION:
• The cartridge will not enter the chamber unless it is properly oriented.
• Press the lid downward until you hear a clicking sound and the lid is securely fastened.
Use the winder to unwind the film in a counterclockwise direction until the frame
you desire is positioned in the IX240 Film Viewer’s scanning window.
SUGGESTION:
• Use of the crank speeds up winding and unwinding.
