Left-click a corner of the image area you wish to
scan.
The mouse cursor will change to a “+” shape.

Hold the mouse button down and drag the mouse
diagonally to include the area you wish to scan.
A dotted frame (crop frame) will appear around the selected area.

Release the mouse button.
• You can change the scan area by dragging one of the frame
handles (black dots).
• You can move the scan area by clicking inside it and dragging.
• You can deselect the scan area by clicking outside the frame.
• Calibration is an adjustment process (taking approximately 1
minute) that allows the scanner to select the correct white
balance for reproducing the colors of the scanned item. It will
commence when the scanner is connected or used for the first
time.
• Do not lift the document cover while calibration is in process.
