10) Hold the drum unit as shown in the figure, and shake it up and down 10
to 12 times to even out the developer inside.

11) Hold the drum unit as shown in the figure, and pull out the sealing tape
[1] slowly and horizontally in the direction of the arrow.

12) Hold the drum unit as shown in the figure below to set to the specified
position of the ITB unit.
Be sure to shake the drum unit 10 to 12 times back and forth, and even out
the developer.
If the developer in the drum unit is not made even, blank areas at the image
end or the error 'E020', 'E025' may occur.
Be sure to pull out the sealing tape completely although you may feel
resistance when pulling out it.

Be sure not to hold near the pullout mouth [1] of the sealing tape. Otherwise,
the tape may be torn up in the middle of the process and cannot be pulled
out completely.
Be sure not to hold down the drum protection cover [1] with a hand when
pulling out the sealing tape.
Be sure not to pull out the sealing tape in the wrong direction (e.g., upward
or downward), otherwise it may be torn up in the middle of the process and
cannot be pulled out completely.
