Receiving Faxes While Performing Other Tasks

Since the machine is a multitasking device, it can receive faxes and voice calls
while you are performing other tasks.

If you receive a fax while you are performing certain tasks, the machine stores the
incoming fax in the memory. Then, as soon as you finish your task, the machine
automatically prints the fax. You can receive a fax while performing the following
tasks:

- Printing

- Scanning (Scan mode)*

- Scanning to send a fax

- Printing reports or lists

- Copying

* Starts printing the fax as soon as the machine receives it, while performing this

task.

You cannot receive a fax while sending a fax.
