Interrupt Mode
(Interrupting the Current Job to Make Priority Copies)
This mode enables you to stop the current copy/print job long enough to make other
priority copies. This mode is convenient when you are in a hurry to make a few copies and
the machine is in the middle of a copy/print job outputting copies in large quantities.

The following copy settings can be selected in the Interrupt mode:
- Adjusting Copy Exposure (See p. 3-15.)
- Selecting the Original Type (See p. 3-17.)
- Preset Copy Ratios (See p. 3-20.)
- Zoom mode (See p. 3-25.)
- Selecting paper size (See p. 3-2.)
- Entering the Copy Quantity (See p. 2-9.)

The feeder (optional accessory) cannot be used in the Interrupt mode.
●
Auto Clear is not performed while the Interrupt mode is selected.
●
Up to 999 copies can be made in the Interrupt mode.

Press the
Interrupt
key.
The
Interrupt
key keeps flashing until the current copy/
print job is stopped.
After the current copy/print job has been stopped,
this screen appears indicating that you can begin
to perform an interrupt copy job. The
Interrupt
key lights
continuously.
NOTICE:

When the
OPTIONS
key lights before using this mode, press the
COPY
key
and switch to the copier functions screen.
MEMO:

When a Dept. ID and password are required, the Dept. ID and
password entry screen appears in the touch panel display. Enter the
Dept. ID and password using the number keys, then press the
ID
key.
