Making two-sided copies with the stack bypass (2ND SIDE OF 2-SIDED OUTPUT)
NOTICE:

Paper with a weight of 28-lb bond (105 g/m
2
) is recommended when making two-sided copies using the
stack bypass.

Make copies on the front side of the paper.

Place sheets of paper in the stack bypass with
the surface that has been copied placed face
down.
NOTICE:
❍
Do not re-copy using paper that has been output on copiers
and printers other than this machine.
❍
Do not make copies on the same side of the paper that has
already been copied. This may cause a malfunction.
❍
When making copies on the rear side of the paper that has
been output from this machine, set “2ND SIDE OF 2-SIDED
OUTPUT.”
❍
“2ND SIDE OF 2-SIDED OUTPUT” need not be set when using
paper that has already been printed on.

Curl down paper before use.
MEMO:

Place the paper so that the top is placed on the left side (fac-
ing the side of the front cover) of the tray.

Select the paper size, then press the [OK] key.

Select the paper material, then press the [2ND
SIDE OF 2-SIDED OUTPUT] key.
NOTICE:

Do not select the [TRANSPARENCY] or [SPECIAL PAPER]
key.
