7. Job Notes Plug-in for Mac OS X

Plug-in for MacOS X is supported. (MacOS 10.2.1 or later is supported). This

 enables to use the following functions.

 - Job Notes

 - Department ID

 - Department Password

 - User Box Number

 - Secured Print

8. Image Smoothing

 Image smoothing enables the printing of low resolution images from appearing

‘jaggy’ or ‘blocky’. Image smoothing uses an image interpolation technique that

 averages the color of individual pixels based on their neighbors. The image

 smoothing function only affects images. All image file formats are supported by this

 function.

9. Power ON/OFF in accordance with with copying machine's power switch

The power of the Color Network Printer Unit-D1 is turned ON or OFF in accordance with the power switch of the

copying machine.  For this reason, you don't need to use the power switch of the Color Network Printer Unit-D1 and

you may always turn ON the power of the Color Network Printer Unit-D1. 

When the power cord is inserted to the Color Network Printer Unit-D1 and the power of the unit is turned ON, the

power reaches to the PCC board via the power supply unit (through CN2 connector and J1). If the power of the

copying machine is turned ON, the signal goes to the PCC board (through J790 and P1)via the copying machine's

interface cable.  Based on this signal, the power is supplied from the PCC board to the motherboard, and system starts

up.
