4.2 Backup and External Storage of Image Files
Back up the image folders under the save folder on a regular basis. Possible methods of backing up are shown
below.
Use Explorer to copy the folders to another hard disk.
Copy the save folder to CD-R, DVD, or other removable media.
Use the backup tools in Windows 2000/XP.
Use a commercial backup utility.
When the amount of available space on the hard disk containing the save folder and capture folder becomes
less than 500 MB, an alert is displayed when starting the software and when saving an image. In this case, you
should immediately free space on your hard disk. Possible methods of freeing disk space are shown below.
Move old date folders that are not viewed in Explorer to another hard disk.
Copy old date folders that are not viewed to CD-R, DVD, or other removable media, and then delete from
your hard disk.
