Note:
The rollers on the registration side and
the eject side are the same component.
1) Remove the left and right covers.

2) Remove the rear cover.

the main motor

2) Remove the rear cover.
3) Remove the feed motor and main motor.
Remove any other cables connected to the
control PCB.
Note:
Once you have removed the motor,
the timing belt can also be removed.
The motor is attached with the
mounting plate. Do not remove the
mounting plate.

4) Remove the screw

(BH, M3) and the
coil spring

on the back side. Then
remove the mounting plate with attached
PCB

while ensuring that it does not
touch the light guide
{
3
(for the
document sensor).
Note:
Once you have removed the mounting
plate, the light guide (for the
registration sensor) on the base side
can also be removed.
