Color Checks Using the Spectrophotometer Unit (option)
Features of Color Checks Using the Spectrophotometer Unit
A color check calculates the difference between the results of color measurement on the pattern built into the printer
and the calibration target.
Executing a color check prints a pattern, which is then measured automatically by the Spectrophotometer Sensor on
the Spectrophotometer Unit.
The resulting measurement value is then compared with the calibration target stored on the printer, and the corre-
sponding difference is displayed on the Control Panel and
Color Calibration Management Console
.

When printing the color check pattern, the calibration adjustment values are applied even if
