Problem
Cause
Solution
Cannot install Plug and
Play. (A part of
Windows 95/Windows
2000)
A printer driver of R
1.02 (Ver.1.00.0.019)
or earlier has been
installed on the OS
corresponding to Plug
and Play.
Install in the following order.
1) Uninstall the printer driver(s)
of R1.02 (Ver.1.00.0.019) or
earlier.
2) While starting OS, cancel the
Plug and Play dialog box, which
prompts you to install LPB-800.
3) Install the software by using
[Add Printer]
wizard in the
[Printer]
folder. During this
installation, select the latest INF
file in the Install From Disk
dialog box, which can be
opened by clicking
[Have Disk]
in the
Add Printer
wizard
dialog box.
4) To remove unnecessary files,
execute "CAPSWEEP.EXE" in
the installation media.

CAPSWEEP.EXE
"
is located
in the following path.
From the driver software CD
(i.e. D:drive is CD-ROM drive)
D:\English\CAPSWEEP.EXE
From the location of the
downloaded Web version
..\disk1\CAPSWEEP.EXE
