Cannot delete a folder
Cause
Data has been saved to the folder.
Solution
Contact the administrator of the shared folder.
Cause
Permission to change the shared folder has not been granted for the user
name and password that were entered.
Solution
Contact the administrator of the shared folder.
Cannot scan from the Home
screen (certain users only)
Cause
The administrator has set “Use only Job Buttons” as a function
restriction.
Solution
Contact the administrator of the ScanFront.
Cannot log in
Cause
Uppercase and lowercase letters were not entered correctly.
Solution
Enter the uppercase and lowercase letters for the user name and
password correctly.
Cause
[Authentication Method] is set to [Active Directory] for the
authentication server, and an IP address or PC name is specified in
[Host Name].
Solution
Specify the FQDN in [Host Name]
, and configure the DNS
server to which the specified FQDN is registered in the [Network
Setting] screen
.
Cause
[Authentication Method] is set to [Active Directory] for the
authentication server, and a NetBIOS domain name is specified in
[Domain].
Solution
Specify the DNS domain name in [Domain]
, and configure
the DNS server to which the specified DNS domain name is registered
in the [Network Setting] screen

Cannot connect to the device
via the network
Cause
[Allow remote operation] is set to [OFF].
Solution
Set [Allow remote operation] to [ON].
