5. INSTALLATION
The system should be installed and wired only by qualified electricians in accordance with
applicable safety regulations.

5.1 Unpacking and Inspection
1) Unpack the packaging and check the package contents. The shipping package contains:

1 UPS
●
1 user manual
●
2 mounting ears with 8 black screws
●
10 terminators for the long backup model
●
2 connectors
（
red and white
）
for battery with 4 contracts for the long backup model
2) Inspect the appearance of the UPS to see if there is any damage during transportation.
Do not turn on the unit and notify the carrier and dealer immediately if there is any
damage or lacking of some parts.
5.2 Rack-mount Installation
When using the ups in a rack-mount configuration, the UPS must be supported by a slide kit,
fixed rails or a shelf. The adjustable rack-mounting brackets feature retaining latches to prevent
users from inadvertently sliding the UPS or battery cabinet out of the rack.

tep 1: Install the adjustable rack-mount kit or fixed rails in proper rack-mounting position with
the screws like this.

tep 2: Attach mounting ears to the side mounting holes of UPS using the screws provided and
the ears should face forward.
