Emergency Descent
1.13.1
When an emergency descent is in progress controllers may broadcast an emergency
message on appropriate frequencies to warn other aircraft. The broadcast may
include specific instructions, clearances or traffic information as necessary.
1.14
Termination of Distress Communications and of RTF Silence
1.14.1
When an aircraft is no longer in distress it shall transmit a message cancelling the
emergency condition.
1.14.2
When an distress incident has been resolved, the station which has been controlling
the emergency traffic will transmit a message indicating that normal working may be
resumed.
