INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.

To ensure a safe and secure installation it is vital that the installer ensures that the ceiling which supports the extractor
must be capable of supporting at least 40 kgs weight.

2.

The thickness of the ceiling must be at least 30mm and suitable for the screws that secure the Hanging Board in
position.

3.

Cut a 170 mm round hole in the ceiling.

4.

Fix the Hanging Board to the ceiling using 12 pcs of ST6* 40mm big flat headed screws.

5.

Using 8 pcs of M4*10 bolts, nuts and washers fix the four lengths of metal angle to the hanging board as shown in pic
2.

6.

Measure and calculate the length of the four lengths of metal angle required to support the extractor at the required
height.

7.

Using the 16 pcs of M4*10 bolts, nuts and washers connect the four sections of metal angle to those already fitting to
the hanging board overlapping the sections by at least 100mm, see pic 3.

8.

Feed the flexible ducting through the hole in the ceiling and connect to the ducting system to be used, see pic 3.

9.

ENSURE THAT ANY ADDITIONAL DUCTING USED TO EXTEND THE FLEXIBLE PIPE SUPPLIED IS AT LEAST THE SAME
DIAMETER. FAILURE TO PROVIDE AN EFFICIENT DUCTING SYSTEM COULD CAUSE PREMATURE MOTOR FAILURE
AND EXCESSIVE NOISE. THE GUARANTEE WILL ALSO BE INVALIDATED.

10.

Slide the INTERNAL chimney section up over the angle sections and secure to the hanging board using the 4 pcs ST4**
screws, see pic 4.

11.

Slide the External chimney section up over the angle sections and the already fitted internal section and temporally hold
in position using the two hooks supplied, see pic 4.

12.

Fix the outlet spigot to the top of the extractor using 4 pcs ST4*8 screws, see pic 5.

13.

Check that the glass is correctly fixed to the extractor, see pic 6.

14.

Offer the extractor up to the metal angle hanging supports and fix using 16 pcs M4*10 screws, see pic 7.

15.

Connect the flexible pipe to the extractor outlet, pic 8.

16.

Connect the extractor to the electricity supply.

17.

Check the installation is secure and level.

18.

When satisfied that all is OK remove the hooks that are holding the external chimney section up and gently lower into
position, see pic 9.
