2. GROUP II + III (4 to 12 years, about 15 to 36 kg)
2.1. Remove the harness belts from capsula
®

Release the harness central belt (D) from the belt end element, press the adjuster (K)
and pull the harness central belt from the belt adjuster (K) (fig. 7).
Release the belt loops from the metal belt anchorage (U) on the back of the seat (fig. 9)
and pull the webbing through the slots in the seat’s backrest and
fabric cover. Release the shoulder pad connector.

Turn the seat upside down. Pull the waist belts (D) down a little bit and feed the ancho-
rage through the slots in the base of the seat and then through the slots in the fabric
cover.
Turn the seat into sitting position, finally pull the harness belts firmly up and remove it
from the seat including the belt buckle.
2.2. Using capsula
®
MT6 without harness belts

Put the red belt hook (M) go through the upmost belt hole(I) of backrest. Place the child
safety seat on the vehicle’s seat ensuring it is pressed against the car seat backrest.

Now place capsula® MT6 into any passenger car seat equipped with a
three-point-vehicle-belt and set your child into it. The position of red belt hook (M)
should be adjusted to the height of the child’s shoulder.
1.5. Securing the child into capsula

Release the buckle- and harness belt, hang the shoulder belt on the top corner of
backrest (B), set your child deep into the seat surface of
capsula
®

, so that his posterior is right down in the seat recess.

Join the two buckle latches of the harness belt togehter.
Push them together into the belt buckle (J) until an audible »click« sound is clearly
heard.

Always check the harness is correctly locked by pulling the shoulder straps
upwards.
To release the harness, press the red button on the buckle (J) downwards.
Make sure that the shoulder belts lie firmly against the child‘s body and are not twisted.
Always check that the shoulder straps are at the correct height for your child.
The child’s shoulders should always be below the slot for the harness.
In the event of an emergency it is important that the child can be released quickly. This
means that the buckle (J) is not fully tamper proof and so your child must be taught
never to play with the buckle (J).
Periodically inspect the harness (D) for wear, paying particular attention to attachment
points, stitching and adjusting devices.
