SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Special safety instructions
1.
This device must not be used by children under 3 years of age as they are unable to
react in the event of it overheating.
2.
This device must not be sued by small children (3-8 years) unless a parent or
guardian has pre-set the necessary controls, or the child has been given instructions
on how to use the heating pad safely.
3.
This device can be used by children aged 8 or over, and by persons with physical,
sensory or mental disability or with limited experience or knowledge, provided they
are under supervision or have received instructions on how to use it.
4.
Children must not play with the it.
5.
Children must not been allowed to clean or maintain this device withtout
supervision.
6.
Make sure that you do not fall asleep while using this device!
7.
If you are very tired while using it, you can select level 1 for your safety.
8.
You must examine the device frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If
you detect signs of wear or tear or damage, or if the device has been used
inappropriately stop to use it.
9.
The switch mechanism MUST NOT come into contact with water when the product
is being washed. Also when drying, the power cable must be arranged so that no
water can flow towards the switch.
10.
Use only with rechargeable battery included in this set.
11.
Do not use if folded or creased.
12.
Do not attach safety pins, needles or pins of any kind to this device.
13.
This product is not intended for use in hospitals, clinics etc
14.
This is not a medical product.
15.
Do not use with a helpless person, child or any person with low sensitivity to heat.

General safety instructions
1.
The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use
this device as describe in this instruction manual.
2.
Before to use, make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage
marked on the rating label.
3.
Do not leave the device unattended when plugged in.
4.
Do not handle the unit or plug with wet hands.
5.
Unplug from the power outlet after use and allow the appliance to cool down
completely before to clean it or to move it.
6.
When disconnecting the cable, always pull at the plug; do not pull on the cable
itself.
7.
When using the device, always pull the power cord completely from its housing to
prevent overheating.
8.
If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid an electric shock.
9.
Never try to repair it by yourself. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid an electric shock.
10.
The power cable must be checked regularly to avoid damage. If the power cable is
damaged it must be replaced by a qualified service center to avoid any danger.

Always place your device on a dry surface.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not let the power cord on the edge of a table or work surface, and prevent it
comes into contact with hot surfaces.

Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic
parts.

Do not touch the hot surface. Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

This unit is not designed to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate
remote control system.

The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by heated scarf may interfere with the
function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits: max.
5000V/m, magnetic field strength: max 80A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1
millistela. Please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker
before using the heated scarf.

When these heated scarf are switched on:
-Do not place any products on it (e.g. suitcase or washing basket)
-Heating sources, such as hot water bottles, heating wraps or similar, must not be
placed on the heated scarf.
19.
These heated scarf s are only designed to warm up the human body.

HOW TO USE IT
Put on the scarf around the neck.
Connect the DC plugs in the battery pocket to the lithium batteries. Turn the heated scarf on
by pressing the On/Off Control button
on the battery.
Press again to select High temperature setting.
Press again to select Medium temperature setting.
