REMOTE PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions have timing requirements. If you wait too long between steps, your
vehicle’s computer may time out, requiring you to start over. Once you begin
the pairing procedure, move at a quick and even pace.
NOTE:
If the EZ Installer is left in the vehicle’s on-board diagnostic (OBD) port
for more than 5 minutes, an alarm will sound reminding you to remove it.
NOTE:
If at any point the EZ Installer continues to beep rapidly, please refer to
the FAQ section for more information.
NOTE:
If Primary Dial Position is 1, this process will add your new remote to
the vehicle. Your vehicle has a memory that can only hold 4 remotes. If the EZ
Installer beeps rapidly, you have too many remotes paired to the vehicle.
Turn the dial to Secondary Dial Position 8. This process is going to erase the
memory. You MUST have all remotes you want to program to your vehicle. You
can program remotes using the EZ Installer at any time, but all current remotes
will be erased when going through this process.

Find your vehicle’s make, model, and year in the COMPATIBILITY LOOKUP
on pages 3-4. Turn the dial on the EZ Installer to the position listed for your
vehicle’s make, model, and year.
