The backrest also has a half-folding back which
can be used to make the Traveller even more
compact. Push the black paddle at the rear of
the chair with your thumb whilst pulling the
handle down.
Repeat on the paddle on the other side. To
return the backrest to the upright position,
simply push the two handles back up into the
upright position until the backrest locks in
place.
WARNING
Do not push down on the handles to raise the front of the wheel-
chair as this could result in damage to your Traveller Wheelchair.
Use the stepper tube as described further on in this manual.
