Repeat the above step after prolonged periods of storage.
First Time Use
Before Plugging In
Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of the
steam generator iron.
Test the steam generator iron on an old cloth to make sure the soleplate and water tank are
clean. We recommend that you allow steam to disperse by pressing the steam button in
order to release any residues that may have built up during the manufacturing process.
Operation
Place the steam generator iron on the support of the ironing board or any other stable
surface nearby with the iron sitting on the iron rest. Make sure the steam generator iron is
unplugged and that the power and steam supply cords are unrolled and not kinked.
Filling With Water
Remove the water tank by holding the grip on its underside and pulling out.
1.
Flip open the water tank cover and fill the tank with water. Close the cover.
2.
Never fill the tank above the MAX lever marked.
•
A filter is fitted to the steam generator iron and is designed to reduce the build up
•
of limescale prolonging the life of the steam generator iron. However it will not
completely eliminate limescale build up.
Using filtered water will also extend the life of the water filter.
•
The filter should be replaced with a new one after 6 months if the steam generator
•
iron is used daily. To remove the filter, first remove the water tank, then grip the 2
protrusions on the filter and pull firmly to remove. Replace with a new filter.
