Important Safety Information

Failure to follow these safety instructions could
result in fire, electric shock, or other injury or damage.
Handling
Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture,
microwave or incinerate the transponder.
Avoiding Water
Do not use the transponder in rain or other wet locations. Take
care not to spill any food or liquid on the device. If the transpon-
der gets wet, unplug it before cleaning, and allow the device
to dry thoroughly before plugging it in again. Do not attempt
to dry the transponder with an external heat source, such as a
microwave oven or hair dryer.
Repairs
Never attempt to open, repair or modify the transponder
yourself. The device does not contain any user-serviceable
parts. If the device has been submerged in water, punctured, or
subjected to a severe fall, do not use it.

Keeping Clean
To clean the transponder, unplug from diagnostic port. Use
a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to remove contaminates.
Avoid getting moisture near terminals or seam. Don’t use any
type of household cleaners, aerosol sprays, alcohol, or
abrasives to clean the transponder.
Important Installation Information
WARNING:
Read all installation instructions before
proceeding. Do not install this device where it can
interfere with the driverʼs controls such as foot pedals,
gear shift or steering. Check to ensure there is
clearance to install the device securely.

Operational Information
Device Temperature
The transponder has been designed to operate in all climates
with an operational temperature range of -25 to 70°C. During
operation, the device may become warm to the touch, this is
normal. If the device ever becomes hot to the touch, it should
be unplugged and replaced.
