Start With Good Hair Maintenance.
Always keep your hair clean and properly conditioned. Hair is only as healthy looking as the care it
gets. The cut is important, but proper care is crucial.
For a Quick Drying Job
•
Set the speed switch to high setting. Always direct the airflow at your hair and away from
scalp, face, and other heat sensitive areas keeping the dryer in constant motion.
Shaping and Smoothing
•
Set the switch to low or high settings as needed. Using a thermal round styling brush, roll a
section of hair in the direction you desire, then hold the heated airflow directly on the hair
(but
away from scalp)
for 2 to 5 seconds depending on the texture and condition of your hair.
You may wish to use the concentrator or pik attachment to zero-in on difficult areas.
Relaxing A Natural Curl
•
To straighten stubborn hair, slowly brush a section down, preferably with a thermal brush, or
the pik attachment, while holding the heat on the taut hair. If your hair dries before completion,
apply small amounts of water from a spray bottle or wet fingertips, until it becomes more
manageable. Go on to the next section and so on.
Add Body And Bounce To Lifeless Hair
•
Brush a section of hair against its natural growing pattern while applying heat from your dryer.
Allow hair to cool before brushing into final style. For long hair use the same technique, only
direct the hot air underneath the strands of hair.
Cool Shot
•
To provide additional body, and longer lasting styling of your hair, the “Cool Shot” button can
be depressed during drying/styling. Use to cool your hair and scalp.
Turbo Power Button
•
For an extra boost of air and to dry hair quickly, use the turbo power button.
To Turn The Dryer Off
•
Set the switch to the “O”setting
IMPORTANT:
Do not aim the flow of hot air directly at one spot for any length of time as possible injury or damage
may occur. Use a brush or your hand to briskly shake out excess moisture while blowing hot air
though your hair. Learn over so that hair hangs freely away from your head or face. For favourable
styling conditions, leave just enough moisture in the hair to make it manageable.
