Insert the plug into the socket outlet, and the on/off indicator will
light up. Within a few minutes the appliance will reach the correct
temperature. Always make sure the hair is dry before curling.
Curling tong
Before curling divide the hair into sections. Grasp a section of hair
at the ends with one hand, and hold the appliance in the other
hand. Open the clip of the curling tong by pressing on the tong
lever. Secure the hair ends between the clip and the tong, and
wind the hair in the desired direction. As you wind, make sure that
other hairs are not pulled along. The desired styling result depends
on the thickness of the hair section and the type and length of
hair. It is not advisable to wind very thick hair sections around the
curling tong. Winding thinner sections of hair around the curling
tong will result in smaller curls. Normally 8 to 10 seconds is long
enough to curl a hair section. Generally speaking thicker hair can
remain in contact with the curling tong for longer than thinner hair,
as less heat is needed to curl thinner hair.
To remove the hair from the curling tong, carefully unwind the hair
in a sideways direction. The tong lever allows you to release the
hair section from the curling tong. By repeating these steps you
can curl all hair sections.
Let the hair cool off for a couple of minutes before combing and/
or brushing.
Brush attachment
For styling and creating waves, curls and volume, slide the brush
attachment over the curling tong. Divide the hair into sections of
about 5 cm. Beginning at the ends, wind a hair section around the
brush and then continue winding towards the roots. It is important
to leave the brush in the hair for a few seconds to allow the heat
to be absorbed. Generally speaking thicker hair can remain on the
brush for longer than thinner hair, as less heat is needed to style
thinner hair. For best results, the hair sections should not be overly
thick. Let the hair cool off for a couple of minutes before combing
and/or brushing.
