This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with re-

they have been given supervision or instruc-
tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Instruct the child not to try and recharge
non-rechargeable batteries because of the
danger of eruption. The adult must make the
child aware of the fact that he or she must not
carry out experiments with recharging non-re-
chargeable batteries and incorrect types of
rechargeable batteries due to the danger of
explosion. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without super-
vision.
Keep the charger and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8 years.
The appliance is only to be used with the
power supply unit provided with the appli-
ance. The use of a different power supply unit
may lead to the permanent damage of the
battery and neighbouring parts, as well as
physical injury! If regular use of the charger,
check cable, connector, lids and other parts
of this charger. The external flexible cable of
this charger cannot be replaced, If the cable
is damaged, it is necessary to scrap the
charger and replace it by a charger of the
same model.
Battery chargers used with the toy are to
be regularly examined for damage to the
cord, plug, enclosure and other parts, and
in the event of such damage, they must
not be used and shall be scrapped.

A Carr era RC vehicle is a remote-con-
trolled model car that uses special recharge-
able batteries for this purpose. Only original
Carrera RC Li-Ion recharge able batteries
may be used. Rechargeable batteries are to
be removed from the toy before being
charged.

The Carrera RC vehicle is designed for
hobby use only and may only be operated on
tracks and in spaces especially intended for
this purpose.

Do not operate the car beneath overhead
high-voltage cables or broadcasting masts or
during a storm! Atmospheric disturbances
can affect the operation of the vehicle. When
there a large temperature differences be-
tween your car’s garage and the running
track, please wait until the vehicle has had
time to acclimatise. This will help prevent
conden sation forming and the possibility of
malfunctions resulting.

Never operate the product on grass sur-
faces. There is the risk of grass hindering the
movement of the axles, which can lead to the
motor overheating. Do not use the Carrera
RC vehicle for transporting goods, persons or
animals.
E
Never use the Carrera RC vehicle out-
doors during rain or snowfall. The car must
not be run through water, puddles and snow,
and must always be kept stored in a dry place.
