05. Operation
Replacing / Adjusting the vario comb
attachments
WARNING! Risk of injury from cutting
• Switch off the device before replacing or chang-
ing the comb attachments.
1. Hold the respective comb attachment with the teeth up
and place it on the shaving head (

). Firmly press the
fixing clip of the comb attachment onto the lower metal
edge of the shaving head (see figure below).
Ensure that the attachment is properly locked into place
before starting to cut/trim the fur.
2. How to adjust the cutting length: Use the taper lever (
2
)
on the left side of the appliance to set the comb attach-
ment to the desired position. The appliance must be
switched off.
3. To remove the comb attachment, switch the appliance off
and press the attachment’s fixing clip with your thumb to
detach it from the shaving head.
