Place the

on your Tripod by loosening the tie-down knob

Connect one or two Pan bars

to the Fluid Head tightening the

on the Pan bar attachment and select your desired operating
angle. The telescopic Pan bar length can be adjusted via lever

Open the Camera plate release lever

and find the correct center of gravity (CG) position, by sliding the

rect balance. Fasten the sliding platform lock

Set the Counterbalance system by turning the selector clockwise

to appropriate tension. The Camera must stay at any Tilt angle. Even-
tually, fine-tune by adjusting the sliding plate

Unlock the Pan lock lever

and set the Fluid drag control by adjust-
ing Pan selector

Set position “

” on the Tilt angle increase selector

+/- 65°
Tilt angle. In case an extra
5°
is needed, set the selector on “
OFF
” po-
sition, keeping in mind you are now working on the springs limit angle.
When the illuminated spirit level

fails it is time to replace the 9
volts battery

. Remove the battery cover.
