CARVIN pools have a limited warranty of 30 years, 5 years at 100% and the following 25 years at 50%. We
highly recommend you hire a competent and certified installer to install your pool. You must provide a proof of
payment dated, valid and legal by a registered installer of the installation of your pool to take advantage of our
warranty program. If you decide to install your pool yourself you must take into account and follow all the recommen-
dations and installation steps included in this manual in order to maintain the validity of your warranty. The slightest
omission of a step, recommendation, misuse or non-standard use of the product will automatically void the warranty.
In order for this 30-year limited warranty to come into effect, the “CARVIN” pool must be registered with
“CARVIN” using one of the following methods:
1.
Returning by mail the warranty card (see last page of this manual).
2.
Online at
www.carvinpool.com
Any defect must be reported to “CARVIN” or to its local representative within 72 hours to prevent breakage of
other equipment, otherwise the warranty (s) will not be honored. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only
to the first purchaser, and only during the period in which the first purchaser occupies the place where the product
was originally installed. “CARVIN's” warranty obligation for equipment that the company does not manufacture itself
is limited to the warranty offered to “CARVIN” by its suppliers (motors, lights, bulbs, etc.)
This warranty applies only to original pools, and does not apply to pools that have undergone modifications,
accidents, misuse, negligent use, abusive use, improper installation, abrasive application of products, corrosion,
incorrect tension, vandalism, public disorder damages or natural disaster (including in particular, the damages
caused by frost, lightning, and any other damages caused by natural disasters). The only warranties authorized by
“CARVIN” are stated in this section. “CARVIN” assumes no responsibility for any unauthorized warranty of its products.
“CARVIN” shall not be liable for any statement made or published, whether written or oral, that is misleading or incon-
sistent with the facts published in the documentation or specifications made by “CARVIN”.
CLAIM PROCEDURE UNDER WARRANTY
Claims under warranty will be made by communicating with the installer/salesman, builder, dealer or retailer
(point of sale) or “CARVIN’s” distributor in your area. All equipment must be inspected by an authorized “CARVIN”
representative or at the factory before the warranty is granted. Any charges or expenses incurred in shipping from or
to the factory, for the removal and reinstallation of the products, or for the installation of a replacement part, will be
the responsibility of the Customer/buyer. At its discretion, “CARVIN” may repair or replace without charge (FOB facto-
ry St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada) any product that proves to be defective during the warranty period. The company
reserves the right to substitute any replacement equipment by new or improved equipment.
