Penetrating a water line causes property damage or may
cause an electric shock.

Installation
Auxiliary Operation (CCH32VCEK)
- Operate the appliance only with the auxiliary handle.
- Turn the auxiliary handle (E) in counter clockwise direction
for adjustment.
- Set the auxiliary handle on the appliance into the required
position.
- The depth can be set with the depth stop (F). Thereby
loosen the winged screw (K)
- Set de required drilling depth.
- Tighten the winged screw (K).
- Tighten the auxiliary handle (E) by turning it in clockwise
direction.
Auxiliary Operation (CCH40VCEK and CCH48VCEK)
- Operate the appliance only with the auxiliary handle.
- Turn the auxiliary handle (E) in counter clockwise direction
for adjustment.
- Set the auxiliary handle on the appliance into the required
position.
- The depth can be set with the depth stop (F).
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there
are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- CAUTION: Maintain the appliance dry.
- CAUTION: Do not use the appliance near water.
- Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or when
barefooted.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Do not clip or crease the power cord.
- Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.
- Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly
fitted.
- Do not use the appliance if the accessories or consumables
attached to it are defective. Replace them immediately.
- Use the appliance handle/s, to catch it or move it.
- Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, out of direct
sunlight.
- Do not use the appliance on any part of the body of a
person or animal.
- If the application tool should become blocked, switch the
machine off. Loosen the application tool.
- Before switching on the power tool, make sure that the
application tool moves freely. When switching on with a
blocked drilling tool, high torque reaction can occur.
- Use clamps or a vise to secure the object to be worked
in place. The work will be safer if both hands are free to
control the tool.
- Let the appliance running with no load for 30 seconds in a
safe position. If you notice serious vibration or other defects
stop the appliance immediately. Then check the problem
and /or proceed as we describe on Anomalies and Repair
clause.
- When working in amianthus/asbestos and/or silica stone,
the dust produced is extremely harmful to your health. Wear
protection against inhalation of this dust, in compliance with
current regulations on accident prevention.
- This appliance is for professional use.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not expose the appliance to extreme temperatures.
- Check the position of power cables before commencing
work ensuring they are well away from the work area.
- Keep hands and other body parts well away from the work
area whist the tool is in use.
- Always hold the body handle and side handle of the
power tool firmly. Otherwise the counterforce produced
may result in inaccurate and even dangerous operation.
- Use suitable detectors to determine if utility lines are
hidden in the work area or call the local utility company for
assistance. Contact with electric lines can lead to fire and
electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead to explosion.
- Set de required drilling depth.
- Tighten the auxiliary handle (E) by turning it in clockwise
direction.
Instructions for use
Before use:
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been
removed.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish
to use:
Fitting the working tools: (Fig. 2)
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Only use tools with SDS-Max shaft.
- Clean and grease the shaft of the tool.
- Insert the tool by moving the sliding ring (B) back. Now the
SDS-Max chuck is open.
- Install the tool in. Turn it slightly until it can be pushed in all
the way and you can feel it engages into place.
- Release the sliding ring (B). Now the tool is locked.
Use:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Select the appliance function desired.
Hammer drilling with rotation
- Turn the selector (C) until points to (
).
Chiseling (CCH32VCEK)
- Turn the selector (C) until points to ( ).
- To modify the position of the chisel turn the selector (C)
between position (
) and ( ). Rotate the chisel until
the desired position and turn the selector (C) until points
to ( ).
Chiseling (CCH40VCEK)
- Turn the selector (C) until points to ( ).
- To modify the position of the chisel turn the selector (C)
until points to (O). Rotate the chisel until the desired position
and urn the selector (C) until points to ( ).
Chiseling (CCH48VCEK)
- Turn the selector (C) until points to ( ).
- To modify the position of the chisel turn the selector (C)
until points to ( ). Rotate the chisel until the desired
position and turn the selector (C) until points to ( ).
- Place the appliance against the surface you want to work.
- Press the appliance until the lengthways play is taken up.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off button (H).
Note: Exerting high pressure does not increase machine
effectiveness!
