-Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use
renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability
null and void.
Safety warning for Sander
- Use the machine only for dry sanding.
Penetration
of water
into the machine increases the risk of an electric
shock.
- Never use the machine with a damaged cable. Do
not touch the damaged cable and pull the mains plug
when the cable is damaged while working.
Damaged
cables increase the risk of an electroc shock.
Additional safety warnings
-CAUTION: In order to prevent overheating do not cover
the appliance.
-Ensure that neither the air access nor exit become either
totally or partially covered by drapery, clothing, etc., as
this increases the risk of fire.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label
matches the mains voltage before plugging in the ap-
pliance.
- Only use the appliance with the specific electric con-

- If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately
disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the

Apply the machine to the workpiece only when
switched on and switch the machine off only after it
has been lifted away from the workpiece.
The power
tool
can move suddenly.
- Pay attention that no persons are put at risk through
sparking. Remove any combustible materials in the
vicinity.
Sparking occurs when sanding metal materials.

Caution, fire hazard! Avoid overheating the object
being sanded as well as the sander. Always empty
the dust collector before taking breaks.
In unfavour-
able
conditions, e. g., when sparks emit from sanding
metals,
sanding debris in the dust bag, micro filter or
paper sack
(or in the filter sack or filter of the vacuum
cleaner) can
self-ignite. Particularly when mixed with
remainders of varnish,
polyurethane or other chemical
materials and when
the sanding debris is hot after long
periods of working.

Regularly clean the power tool’s air vents.
The
motor’s fan will draw the dust inside the housing and
excessive accumulation of powdered metal may cause
electrical hazards.

Secure the workpiece.
A workpiece clamped with
clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure than
by hand.

Instructions for use
Before use:
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been
removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label
matches the mains voltage before plugging in the
appliance.
- Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or
when barefooted.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Do not clip or crease the power cord.
- Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not touch any of the appliance’s moving parts while
it is operating.
- Do not sand any material containing asbestos. Work-
ing with asbestos and/or silica wheel, the dust produced
is harmful for health. Prevent inhalation of these types
of dust by following the appropriate health and safety
regulations.
- Protect yourself from contact with and the inhalation of
dust created by sanding wood and metal surfaces and sur-
faces coated with lead paint. Use protective equipment that
complies with the appropriate health and safety regulations.
- Exercise precaution after employing the stop operation
on the appliance as the tool will continue moving from the
effect of its own mechanical inertia.
- Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each
use.
- Check the position of power cables before commencing
work ensuring they are well away from the work area.
- Keep hands and other body parts well away from the
work area whist the tool is in use.
- Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not prop-
erly fitted.
- Do not use the appliance if the accessories or con-
sumables attached to it are defective. Replace them
immediately.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in
use and before undertaking any cleaning task.
