10 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS
10.1 LOADING PELLETS
The first operation to perform before switching the
stove on is to fill the fuel (pellet) tank using the
relevant scoop.
Do not empty the bag directly into the tank to avoid
introducing sawdust or other foreign elements that
could prevent the stove from working properly and
avoid scattering pellets outside the tank.
Be sure to close the lid of the tank well after loading
the pellets. A safety switch (only for specific models)
checks that the lid has been closed correctly and
activates an alarm if the lid has been left open for
more than a minute while the stove is operating.
10.2 ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY
Connect the stove to the mains, press the ignition
switch on the back of the stove, placing it on “I”
(Fig. 10.2). If the connection is correct, the stove
emits a series of intermittent acoustic signals and
the display lights up.
If the stove is not used for long periods, we
recommend turning the switch on the back of the
machine to the OFF (O) position.
Do not touch the control panel when the stove
is powered on.
